Residential Summer program - 2025 APPLICATION
Application to our Summer Programming is now open to high achieving, under-resourced 9th & 10th grade students (current 11th & 12th graders are NOT eligible to apply). Applicants must have a 2.7 GPA or higher; be in the top 25% of their class; or qualify for AP coursework. Strong preference is given to first-generation college students. The deadline for receiving completed applications is March 10, 2025.
Applicants must complete the 2025 application, which includes writing a brief personal essay, and receive a recommendation from a representative of their school. IN ADDITION TO THIS, ALL APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO SELECT A TIME SLOT TO BE INTERVIEWED FOR THE PROGRAM. AN INTERVIEWED IS REQUIRED.*
Applicants must be willing to attend the residential program.
*Incomplete applications will not be considered.

FOR STUDENTS
Students may initiate the application process if they meet selection criteria. Students will then need to ensure that someone from their school (a principal, assistant principal, counselor, English teacher/math teacher) completes the online recommendation form.
FOR COUNSELORS, TEACHERS + PRINCIPALS
To ensure the strongest possible cohort of students, we request that school and district representatives take the lead in the recruitment process. Below are important instructions to ensure all information is received in a timely manner.
School personnel (a principal, assistant principal, counselor, English teacher or math teacher) must fill out the recommendation form for selected applicants online.
Students may also initiate the application process if they meet selection criteria.
If a completed recommendation is received for a student before their application has been submitted, the student will receive an email with a link to the student portion to complete and submit online.
Applications must be complete (recommendation and student portion) by March 10, 2025.
All questions may be directed to Tony Alleyne at talleyne@delawarecollegescholars.com.
