For the month of November, we are excited to announce a new series titled, STEM-Powered. In this four-part series, we hope to inspire our scholars, specifically the next generation of young women interested in STEM-related fields. In highlighting the experiences of some, but certainly not all women who are doing some phenomenal work, our aim is that our audience will get a taste of some of the challenges they have had to navigate because of their social identities.
Each podcast will feature a new speaker who will touch upon at least one central theme to this series: Advocacy, Visibility, Diversity, and Belonging. Although these episodes are not enough to adequately shine light on the complexities of this issue, we hope that this will be a start and that our scholars will be motivated to carry the torch moving forward.
